I am getting the 0420 code and its from the 02 sensor since i changed my exhaust.i went on a few websites and there are single and dual 02 sensors.

Which one is better to get the single or the dual sensor?( I have a y-pipe and catback..no headers)

I will check out the stickied for a how-to.

Just need to know which one to get

Get the dual it will work on single or dual systems. Not sure how many rear sensors you have on the 2001. Check and see. Regardless these o2 simulators are only for rear o2 sensors they will not work on the fronts that control the a/f.

 

you need the single if you have 3 O2 sensors and the dual if you have 4. Fed specs only have 3 and cali have 4. You can find out just by popping your hood and looking at the plugs right infront of the engine. If there are 4, you need a dual, if 3 you need single. But like metioned these do not work for the heated sensors which are the ones up front. the P0420 code is a sensor in the front i believe. You are going to want to check.

 

get either one. Single can be used as dual and dual as single. One just has an extra wire spliced in.
