There may or may not have been threads about this in the past but, I'm going to shoot anyway and hope that this isn't repetative.

I was wondering if anyone else out there has had a problem with their 5.5 AC/Heater Blower Motor (or whatever the technical term may be).

The blower sometimes come on making all kinds of noises. The noise sometimes changes and goes away depending on how hard you turn the vehicle to a given direction. Sometimes the blower comes on fine with no noise. Anyone has any idea what this could be?

Also, has anyone had any problems with their Bose CD player skipping a lot when you first turn on the car? It seems to only do this when the car is cold and when given a short amount of time, the CD player begins to work fine.

Again, I hope these aren't bothersome questions. I'm just trying to find out what's going on.

the cd skipping is probably condensation on the lens, i dont know how the blower noises sound but it may be leaves or a cracked squirrel cage, which would flex and rub the blower case differently during turns and blower speed, increasing intensity with speed, ususally.

 

I went through the blower problem myself. It has sleeve bearings which suck and wear out. The best thing to do is to by a 2k2 or 2k3 from the junkyard and toss it in. The plug orientation is different, but I used the 2k2 on my 2k3 and it still works fine.
