Frankencar owners step in!!!: fitment issues- Just Me??? (pics*)
Ok so I recently got my Frankencar B-pipe installed and I had some problems with the exhaust knocking. I went to get them fixed and the knocking got better, but I still hear it over large bumps. So today while looking under my car I noticed how my B-pipe hangs extremely low. Originally I thought it should be that way until I went to Frankencar's website and saw the difference. Here's some comparison pics:
My B-pipe:
Frankencar's:
As you can see, my s piece isnt "tucked in" like it should be. Because my s piece is so much lower, it bangs on the suspension support, right before it connects with the rear section piece. At first I thought my pipe was mis-shapen, but off the car it looks exactly like it should. I thought maybe the mechanic put the cat on backwards, so the brackets/bolts don't line up properly on the exhaust pieces, but would the car even work then? Wouldn't I be throwing codes like crazy?
And FYI, I have a Cattman Y-pipe and Cattman Rear section, but I don't know if that affects anything. I thought that maybe the cattman rear section piece is longer than Frankencar's, so the b-pipe is being pushed down, but I can't find any comparison pics between Cattman and Frankencar rear sections. Anyone have some??? Any help appreciated!!!

hey, i jsut got a cattman catback and i had minor fitment issues that lead to banging as well, wat i did was jiggled it to see where it was banging, it was hitting the rear heat shield so i bent it whre i needed to, then i zip tied all the black rubber hangers and it makes it move less, i think it should help alot with your hanging low issue

i compared my stock bpipe and cattman bpipe...the stock one is noticeably lighter if u ask me

And just to add since I never posted previously, that my FC b-pipe actually sits lower than yours did, but I never experienced any banging on any of the braces.
