Annoying steering-wheel vibration @ highway speeds. :nupe500:
Alright, here's the deal...whenever I'm driving on the highway, the wheel vibrates...nothing terrible, but annoying enough. The question is, is my suspension in need of some work...or is it my tires?
Thanks for the input, fellas.

Does the vibration get worse when you hit the brakes at speed? If so, I'd say brake rotors...
Could be a tire that needs balancing, a flat spot on a tire, I've even had steering wheel vibration from a bad rear wheel bearing - though of course I heard the bearing noise at the time.
Good luck

Sounds like it's a balancing issue. I've never hit anything with the wheel, and cannot see any visible damage on any of them.
Any place you'd guys recommend for wheel/tire balancing?

The rotors are shot already, there is no doubt in my mind about that. I'll be replacing them after X-Mas.

you're in jersey, so i dont' know...i have a local shop that for the most part, the guy knows what he's talking about. i think if you go to any shop but keep an eye when they balance, you can see as well what's the issue.

adding another choice:
when i first got my 2k2, on the first day it snowed, the snow had iced into my wheels. when i was driving it causing some CRAZY vibrations. i couldn't figure it out until someone else mentioned it and it got coincedental. i kicked off the snow and all was well again. def. caught me off guard as it appeared outta nowhere.

I had the SAME thing happen to me early this year. I was driving to school after second big snow storm and I bugged out! My car began to wobble violently after 50MPH. The thing is, I cleaned out the snow/ice on the wheel, but there was more behind it. I turned the car around and ran to Hogan (at Star Nissan) and I thought my car went bonkers. And he's like "dude...you probably just have more ice stuck there" -- he crouched down and whiped it down. Needless to say, I felt like an *** AND I missed my first day of class. Hahaha.

i get this too...i was afraid one of my wheels are bent but i'm not so sure about that... are there any common problems with stuff like linkages and such? possibly suspension wear? i hope it goes away after the coilovers go on...
