Grille Tech owners, please step in!

I recently purchased a Grille Tech upper and lower piece for my 2k2 Max....I need to get an idea of how it will look like and if it will meet my likings...If not then I'm going to buy a stock grille and will be selling my Grille Tech.....please post up pics and let me know!

Good thing you're in Cali. You might get 6 months out of them before the begin to rust.

My advice is to leave the OEM grille in place and put the lower grille tech behind the bumper cos the rubber take around it makes it look tacky

I have the upper grill with an nissan emblem, got for two years now no rust at all. I put 3 coats of clear when I got, and 3 coats this fall and it shines nicely. Instead of zip tieing it to the bumper I put a couple small screws at the bottom of the grill.

not the best pic, but should give you an idea. grille-tech on the top, plain old mesh on the bottom. i used to have the grille-tech bottoms when i had my stock bumper too. no complaints about either grille.

Patsmax - hey thanks for the picture...do you have a shot of the car from a little bit further away? Thanks

03on18s - Hey nice picture...but I can't really compare it to my car..since yours is an aftermarket bumper and all...so far looks pretty cool though..have any shots when you were stock with grille tech?

My grille-tech looked brand new after two years on my max. The secret is to dry it as soon as it gets wet. I never put any clearcoat on mine.

Mine never rusted either. I had mine on for about 2 years. Just recently sold mine to put the stock grill back on.

I like the combo of your CF hood and the grille

I had the lower Grill Techs and they rusted within the year. I finally got tired of repainting them and purchased the JMS Lower Front Grill valence(www.jmsproductsinc.com). I have had them on for almost a year without any hint of rust.

Good move, no grill fits the body style of the maxima besides the stock one.

Nice car. I usually don't like those kits, but it looks really good on your car. Nice and clean.

After looking at all the stock nissan grille'd maximas...it looks so nice and classy with the stock grille...The Grille Tech does look "okay"...its just when you compare the two...hands down the Nissan grille wins..
