Yup, took off the sunroof deflector today after washing my car. For some strange reason, it just seemed out-of-place so after I dried the car, I decided to just take it off. Good thing too because it was trapping some dirt which really shows on white paint. IMO, it looks much cleaner now and I'll be able to wash the roof better.
I guess that means I have a sunroof deflector available. If anyone is interested, let me know.

Take it off, you won't be disappointed. After going to a local meet up here, some of the guys mentioned that I should take it off and I did. Makes the car look much smoother and much easier to wash the roof. I'll get a pic up soon.

Aren't there going to be holes left in the roof from the support struts that hold it up?

No. Actually they're held up by these hooks that you stick into the corners of the moonroof frame and screw the deflector on top of. When I took off the deflector, I just took the hooks off as well and you can't notice the difference.

Thanks for the info! Looked last night and off it came! Much prefer the smoother lines and look forward to washing it without playing around with the deflector corners, etc...to say nothing of the lousy water running from teh drip holes for several minutes afer you have 'dried' the car!!
