God I've done and written this so many times. Many people have, it should be a sticky somewhere.

1. Get under the car and remove the screw on the side of the underside of the bumper and the 3-4 plastic tabs that keep the splash guard up against the car.

2. Pull the splash guard out of the way and get your head under the car so you can see the back of the foglight housing. There is a screw holding the housing in. Take it out.

3. Unplug the harness to the foglight assembly. With one hand on the outside of the housing pulling and the other on the inside pushing get the housing out.

4. With the housing out you'll have to remove the retaining clip and unplug the old bulb, replace with a new one and you're all set.

Reverse for installation.

The only thing I would say different, there is a white tab holding it in along with the screw on top, take a flat head screw driver and push it out so it comes out easy.

i have a quick question to add: my foglight went out shortly after i removed my splashguard, does that have anything to do with my foglight shorting out?

It can if the seal on the back of the light wasn't good. Another thing that'll make it go out is a cracked lense. Either way, water + hot light bulb = pop.
