help...click/bang noise when turning wheel
the noise happens when the seetring wheel is close to end of it turn to the left, when turning in either direction, its kind of a loud click or bang noise, happened once when just going straight. dont think its the cv joint because i drove in a circle and nothing, only when turning steering wheel. any ideas??

check the front anti-rolll bar end links and bushings. mine are worn out, i just got new ones for $38 from a dealer. also got energy susupension main bushings for the bar for $20. i think it's kinda hard to see, you may have to jack the car up completely on both sides, or take it to a mechanic, and put it on a lift.

possibly the bump stop for the end of the steering. mine does that and after checking ive decided that its either from an actual bump stop or from some steering interference. but if it happens while driving then its probly not that, unless youre cranking the wheel all the way.

ok, now its making the noise when i turn the wheel in any direction. i think i can rule out wheel bearings, because that whold make a whinding noise when driving, i guess i can narrow it down to, axel, cv, a tie rod of some sort and something in the steering linkage??? i have no clue, anything else?

Did you do the wiggle test?
1. Jack the front of the car up.
2. Grab one of the front wheels at 12 and 6 o'clock and see if it wiggles excessively, if it does, you may have a wheel bearing issue.
3. Grab the wheel at 9 and 3 o'clock and see if it wiggles excessively, if it does, you have have bad tie rod ends.
4. Repeat for other wheel.
Also, did you examine your CV boots for tears and grease? Feeling the inside of your rims doesn't always detect that. Take off your wheels and check the boots.
And you checked the steering "bump stops" already?

inspected everything, all bushings etc, wheel bump stops, cv boots, and the whole time my freind was moving the steering wheel no noise. it can lead me to believe that something has to be warm to make noise, otherwise i still have no clue.
do you think it can be the rack & pinion or anything else serious?

I think i have the same thing
when i turn right quicky , like on a highway entrance
it make a noise clonk clock under the dash around the center
i also notice it when i enter in a parking like if the shock was in cause
