i still dont understand how u gain hp by reducing resistance, but 30 buck shipped is cheap for a grounding kit, wouddering if i should go for it. anyone feel any diff with extra ground wires?

 

You can make it yourself for 30 bucks, so no, it is not too cheap. And no, you do not gain hp, but maybe some throttle response and smoother idling.

Look around for threads/write-ups with what to buy and how to assemble it. I know Irish has some pics and info on his homepage.

I noticed ebay didn't advise the guage, which means its prob 8. Thats why its less expensive. I hear 4 is the way to go. I'm looking to do this since I just burnt out my alternator. I've always had really good idle response so I just want to help out my stereo and all other electronics in the car. The max has a lot of computers and it will benefit them any grounding versus no.

home made ground follow Irish writeup, felt smooth idle, slightly better respond and shift smooth gear one to two. That it.

 

Made my own as I make wire & cable as a manufacturer, this will help with smoother idle and beter 1-2 shift, any grounding you can do on a newer car is a benefit as there are more and more electronics and interference can effect little things, sometimes to small to notice otherwise , but it will be safer on the electronics.
