Anyone know about the CP-E Intake?

Here is the link to the post on the CP-E intake on Nissanclub.com

http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/sho...6&page=1&pp=15

I am not really sure what makes this intake superior to other intakes but supposedly its tunable.

Does anyone know anything more about it. I dont really understand why its supposedly so special and why it adds so much WHP.

Pretty much, and IIRC it gives a larger MAF housing.

Ya $600 for an intake with a tunable a/f?? Would be pretty easy to put our MAF into a 3.5" tube. Except for the 4th Gen's they are all one piece.

The S-AFC II and an intake would do the same thing for less than 1/2 the price. This won't work on a 4th Gen.

Ive done it...but you need injector control as the MAF couldnt compensate for such a large tube with the Emanage I was using. These guys simply added an AFC that can do more voltage adjustment. Not worth anywhere close to $600 either.

Absolutely, I already bashed them about this. They think they are creating something new and unparalleled in the performance industry. The EU blows this thing away for the same price, (minus the intake which everyone already has) plus it has many more features, timing, rev limiter removal etc etc

Yup...I would have taken it further except my transmission decided to blow up first
