I carefully dremeled out a slot on the top of the vents is why you can't see any creases in the dash where the wire goes into it. Dremeled a little and tested, if I needed more room I took out a little more material. It fits snug and perfect. I also ran the wire via the center of both vents to have a cleaner install.

The vents were removed to feed the wire through and mount the unit. It's best to do it that way or else there is no way for you to get behind there and feed it through.
