6000k D2r bulbs...input please

I am planning to upgrade my stock D2r bulbs to 6000k ones...I just wanted to get some input from you guys...

1. Does anybody have these ebay bulbs?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/6000K...spagenameZWDVW

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-6...spagenameZWDVW

2. Are they even worth it? I mean I'm not well educated when it comes to HIDs....someone step in and clarify!

oh yes....plz do not say "stick with stock 4300k HIDs becuz they produce better lumens/light output than 6000k"....my goal is not to gain light output...I could careless if my lumens went down a little...from my readings, the difference between 4300 to 6000 is not that significant....only when u step up into the region of 8000+....besides, I'm only doing this for COSMETIC purposes...

Seem pretty legit, but still skeptical because they're no name on e-ghey.

Instead of eBay, I recommend you buy from a seller with good reputation and one that can actually process warranty problems, like maximabest or umnitza from the GB forum.

I just bought a pair of 6,000K D2R bulbs and a mini-H3 kit from Umnitza, and the Prolumen kit is lifetime warrantied as well as proven by E46 peeps.

thanks for the input...but i really wanna see if anybody who bought these bulbs have experience with them...

Do you know if the lifetime warranty for the Umnitza bulbs are transferrable? Meaning if I sold it used to some other guy...will umnitza still warrant the bulb?

Dude, I live like 10 min away from Umnitza, I see that damn Umnitza white bimmer everyday, it's Matt's car btw. Umnitza is a small warehouse not intended for walk-ins. But Matt is a cool guy. I can talk to him.

I doubt the warranty is transferrable, but you never know. Def contact Umnitza, they gave an amazing price for my bulbs and kit.

1.i know you want to save 30 bucks trying to buy stuff from ebay, but you get what you pay for. your still young so youll figure it out when you get older. but if i were you, id go to the group deal and you can get good deals on some quality D2R bulbs. your better off doing it right the first time, then having to do it over because you bought soem cheap junk from ebay. trust me, ive been through that stage.

2.they are worth it imo. i got 6k becasue i didnt want to get too noticed but wanted to change the color a bit. the output hasnt cahgned too much, if your looking for more blueish color go with 7k, because 6k is more whiter and a just bit bluer than stock ones. but you do notice the difference between the 6k and 4.5k.

If you want to get 6000k's I recommend going with Philips Ultinon bulbs. White light with a very distinguished purple hue...

i'll try to take some pics with a real camera. But its a good deal. they also came in a really Nice box, not just some cheapy plastic case. I mean i don't think its a bad deal for under $80. The pics that he has on his EBAY are almost the exact color they look like.
