well had something break today
well today on the way home i was kind of halfway getting on it and then all of the sudden my car got extremely loud, like open ypipe loud. well i got home and figured that since i just readjusted everything that i forgot to tighten down the bolts on the cat, so i didn't think it was any real big deal. well after getting the car in the air and getting underneath it i realized that the flange from the bpipe to the cat had broke at the welds. i have a custom bpipe that i bought with my hks rear section from a fellow max owner. it surprised me because the welds look like decent welds. oh well i'll take it to my exhaust guy on monday and have him fix. i'll just deal with a really really loud car till then. man that sucks.
has anyone else had this happed with their custom bpipes. it was kind of weird that it happened only a week after i tightend my hangers to keep the exhaust from banging. could i of tightend it too much? just curious
here are pics of the cat with the flange still on it.

I've had a similar thing happen few times, my CustomMaxima resonated test pipe broke off in a similar fashion 2 years ago- repleaced with Warpspeed one.
My Cattman Ypipe flex pipe broke off completly on the highway one time, I've had 2 of them fail like that. Fixed it with some HS headers. My Ypipe was soo patched up and welded up in diff spots to keep it from further falling apart it wasn't even funny.
