Hi! I'm sure you remember me at Maxima Day. Which sensor are you taking about? Is it the boost sensor? I zip-tied it to another hose. Could you show me some pictures?

BTW, nice car!

im not sure which one it is but there is one on top and there is another one thats that is in the middle and is connected from directly to the plastic and part of it is inside the outlet part of the whole scoop thing. the engine bay and those groundcontrols are tight how is your ride though

One is the boost sensor (black thing on the outside) and I believe the other one stuck inside the scoop is the temperature sensor. You can take both of them off and zip-tie them to something.

Thanks! The GC's are stiff but I'll take the handling over ride quality anyday. BTW, I didn't catch you name.

For the sensor that is stuck in the tubing, just pull straight out. Give it some force and it will come out no problem. The one on the front of the scoop will require a wrench to remove the bolt holding it in.

That box is the resonator. It supposedly cuts down on intake noise. However, it really does nothing. Infact the 2001 modles don't even have this box or tube. You can take the L-tube out along with the scoop and ignore the white box. It won't do a thing. If you really want though, you can remove the white box. You will probably have to take out the battery and the batter tray. In my opinion, it isn't worth the trouble. Just leave it there.
