stock intake sensor
i was a maxima day and seen a few maximas that removed there stock intake scoop ive been trying to remove mine but i cant get the back sensor off to remove it all the way the and if its removed do you leave both sensors hooked up please help me out i hate this freakin thing

Which sensor are you taking about? Is it the boost sensor? I zip-tied it to another hose. Could you show me some pictures?BTW, nice car!

Thanks! The GC's are stiff but I'll take the handling over ride quality anyday. BTW, I didn't catch you name.

That box is the resonator. It supposedly cuts down on intake noise. However, it really does nothing. Infact the 2001 modles don't even have this box or tube. You can take the L-tube out along with the scoop and ignore the white box. It won't do a thing. If you really want though, you can remove the white box. You will probably have to take out the battery and the batter tray. In my opinion, it isn't worth the trouble. Just leave it there.
