2k1 se gauges with rings in 2k gle

let me just say, wow what a difference!!!! For all the se guys no big deal, you've been looking at them since you've owned the car you lucky bastids, but for all the gle, gxe guys who have been looking at those plain black gauges, you have to try this! especially with the gauge rings. They totally give it a classy more expensive look. i have a 2k gle but put 2k3 bump,hids,rims,2k3 entire class. stillen kit, etc etc. finally the inside of the car matchs the outside. Can't believe i did'nt do this sooner. i'll try to post pics when gf gets home, lol i'm computer illiterate. he he

if you or anyone else does the rings be VERY VERY gentle with cluster. i broke the lens from my original gle just be cleaning it, just crumbled in my hands and also broke a tab off se one trying to get it in. wow very fragile!

I like mine now, but it is very busy (lots of lines and colors) and I don't like the way the temp and fuel guage are black. I loved my 95 se guages, and I wanted to put rings on those. Someone mentioned an I35 cluster, but I would have to see it in person to decide, its faces are black and like the white/titanium look

yeah i don't like the 2k3 black temp and fuel ones either. i have a 2k although from the outside it's a 2k3, so i put 2k1 all white/grey gauges in. i absolutely love them during the day but when i saw them at night they did seem to remind me a little of the cheap indiglow ones. i never saw them before in person or at night so last night i was blown away how they were blue around edges. overall best mod i've done internally for the money.......

Where did you get the guage faces from? I am looking to do this mod, but all the guages I see are really cheap looking. Some of them look kind of cheesey with the lights on/ night time. Where can I find some GOOD ones?

i put oem se gauges in mine from ebay. took me about a month to find close milage,(took exactly 10k off my speedometer, he he ) tcs, and auto for a fair price. there is one on there now for 100 but not sure on the details. i payed 89 for mine then 35 for the gauge rings plus shipping. i would never put those indiglow cheap ebay ones in my car. just not my taste at all.
