I know that Illuminas are said to make "noise" especially when cold. This whole winter my rear struts have been squeaking rather loudly (not a high pitched squeak but its the best way I can describe it) mainly when I go over dips in the road. I don't remember it making this noise at all this past summer and the noise hasn't gone away like I was hoping when it's warmed up the past few days. Is this something that happens to others with Illuminas and can you oil parts of it to make this noise stop? Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

 

when i back out of the drive way, the front ones squeak when its real cold but thats the only squeak i get. i think most will make noise when its real cold out. not sure about what we can do

 

Is it almost like a honk sound? Sort of a toot?

 

I get a TON of squeaking from my setup. I called tokico and they told me to spray some silicone around the top mounts and rubber pieces on the inside of the car. This works wonderfully but only for about a week or so when the squeaks come back.....

 

I have the same exact squeaking noises. Only started to happen in the cold and only when I go over my speed bumps at school or go over big dips in the road slowly. Hopefully it is due to the cold and not the illuminas going bad.
