I am getting noise from the back of my 01 when the car is off kind of a humming sound. My first thoughts were that it was the fuel pump maybe bring fuel back in to the tank but I don't remember hearing the noise the whole time I had the car.
So I was wondering if anyone was heard something like what I just described and if you know what I am talking about is it normal

do you hear the noise while driving? What side it comes from right<>left?

 

don't hear the noise while driving and i would say that it is on the left side

 

Could be the bearing/hub. It gets louder as you go faster. If it is, replace it soon.

 

i only hear the sound when the car is stopped and the key is in the off position and i am out side of the car
