Effects of trunk weight on gas mileage.

I have a kicker box with 2 10" subs in the trunk. gas is gettin a bit pricey. would it make a differnce to emtpy the trunk temporarily? knowingly that depending on how i drive would result as to how much gas would be consumed. ive done nothing but cruise for a while now. is it worth it the sacrifice?

So you're telling me that your budget is SO tight, that you cannot afford an extra gallon of gasoline per week?

If such is the case, sell the entire audio system, and trade in for a Corolla.
