Frankencar Intake

Has anybody ever purchased this and how long did it take to come in. Reason: I ordered one like a month ago and it still isnt here. They gave me an email the following week I ordered it to pick what color was available and I replied back the same day. Is it normal to be waiting this long for it? I could of just purchased an AEM for that much and got it faster.

They are a mystery. I've never had problems with them, but that was last year. It seems that they've disappeared again. Keep calling Scott or Steve and hopefully you'll get your intake soon.

You did? Wow... I've been trying to get in with him for weeks. I need to leave him another voicemail I guess.

That's the reason I've been trying to call them.

I gave up on Frankencar last fall when several e-mails and voice-mails went unanswered. I was interested in their cat-back, and needed a replacement Apexi filter for their intake, but couldn't even get someone on the phone to take an order. I went with Cattman instead, and just ordered a Berk intake to replace the Frankencar, which took about a month to get when I ordered it 2 years ago.

I have emailed Frankencar a couple times about questions regarding their intakes. I have yet to recieve an answer. Is frankencar notorious for this? I am inthe market for an intake from them but should I just go with berk? I agree with the phrase for 200 dollars I expect better responses. Sorry if this got a little off topic but that is my concern with frankencar. I am also interesting in that GD to get exhaust from them.

For a small business they sure have no problem throwing away tons of customers...

Tons of people have given up and just went with Cattman or Berk, its just not a good way to keep your business above water and that is to bad because they make good products.

"we dont have the capital to make anymore cat-backs" excuse is lame if you ask me... I know it cost alot to get them made and if you are a small business it is hard to just have that moeny sittin around. But tons of people on here would pre-pay for the exhaust and wait a while for it. They are just not devoting the time to the company it needs... Hey Brain Catts, make them an offer to buy them out?! get this company back on track...

People are always debating to buy your Cat-back or Frankencars... Just own them both!

I don't think that people would mind waiting a while if they just knew what to expect. It's called customer service. I realize that they have other jobs, but you have to communicate with your customers. I could never get an answer from e-mails or voice mails. I would have ordered my new Apexi filter from them, but I was afraid I wouldn't get it in a timely manner. Ordered from Berk and had it in less than a week. Communication with them is very inconsistent at best. I got my intake a couple years on a GD, so it only took a few weeks.

I just posed the question of an Exhaust Group Buy/Deal to Steve. Of course I have not heard back from him. I believe a Group Buy/Deal is a win-win situation where he does not have to cover the costs not knowing when the system will sell. I will continue to pursue the matter with him.

I spoke to Steve at length yesterday. Exhausts won't be made for a few months. That's all I'm gonna say for now.

i never had a problem with steve.. and frankencar.. but its probably because i pass by his place/town regularly lol.

but yea.. it does suck that there is only liek 2-3 peopel running a company tryign to satisfy everyone....especially when they have their own jobs aside from frankencar.
