Sold My Max

Well after six years of my maxima it was time to let it go. I had driven that car all over the US not to mention Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It will be missed but will be replaced with something small and fun. I am thinking about an STI. BTW my car was a 2000 GXE 5-speed with low milage and pretty much full SE conversion. I was able to sell it for $11,000. Not too shabby.

Enjoy your cars guys.

It had just broken 51k miles. The car was in great shape and had some minor mods such as suspension and an Injen intake. Plus when black cars are all shined up people go crazy for them. The lady was all excited last night as she drove away. Of course day one of only having a motorcycle fr transportation and it is raining.

No but I would guess that her husband probably could figure it out. He has an S2000 with over 27k in mods. It must be a crazy ride. He told me that it had a blower and nitrous. If not him them her two teenage sons will be all over this site. The 17 year old will be driving the car according to mom.

The car spent the better part of the 3 1/2 years that I was in Italy in storage. It was too big for the roads in Naples, plus I had a 91 M3. Since I have been back in the states I have lived within 2 miles of the office. Oh yeah I ride my motorcycle most of the time as well unless I have the wife and kids with me. If they are with me we take the 4Runner. I guess you could say the car has been a spare car most of its life. When I transfered from CT to CA I had the car shipped over. Really not that much driving. Since January I have put a whooping 2k miles on it and that was trying to drive it instead of the 4Runner in order to save some gas.
