To Reset or not to Reset?
I have a 2001 nissan maxima gle. It resided in ny under its various seasons for quiet some time and about 1.5 years ago made its way down to florida where my father lives. he has noticed it is getting horrible gas mileage.
he was wondering if it would be best to use some chevron techron or possibly reset the ecu
Do you think that the car coming from NY and adjusted to the climate and conditions and then moved to full time humidity and all that in florida. do you think the ecu would have adapted to florida or do you think that a complete restart of it would be good.
Otherwise any other feedback you can give us would be great. Car has never been driven hard and has always been babied so no worries on that end.
Please let me know
THanks,
Steve
