TE wheels (high polished rims), TE sills, TE/silver colored center console, and a few other little things.

"Maxima's new Titanium Edition Package is a new option available only on SE models. The Titanium Edition Package features a BoseŽ audio system with AM/FM in-dash 6-disc CD changer, front seat side-impact supplemental air bags, in-mirror compass, floor mats and stainless steel sill plates with Maxima logo. It also offers titanium-tint color accents on the center console, titanium-tint accent stitching on the steering wheel and shifter, and alloy wheels with bright wheel finish. Valued at over $1,600, the package will be offered with an MSRP of $999."

I have all those options on my 2003 max se and it is not a TE. The only difference the TE has is the colour of paint that is what the option was for.

No.... The TE package has titanium colored rims, TE sills, compass mirror and such....

THERE IS a polished TITANIUM color, but that is not the TE package

The 2002 mirror does not have a compass in it, the TE mirror does. Since it's basically the same mirror, it was all plug n play. If he had an 03, then maybe the compass was only available on the TE edition, but I can't think of any other reason to swap

...the only reason for the swap is/was for the compass imbedded in the miror. I am actually looking for one as well. but cant seem to find one. only TE 03 models have this feature. However, im thinkin about getting the I 35's compass mirror and seeing if it is plug n play as well...

Look in the back of Car and Driver, under the ads. They sell what appears to me anyway to be the exact same mirrors our Maximas have. They sell a version with a compass and also with a thermometer.
