5.5 Gen Manual: WEIRD SHAKING PROBLEM

So my girlfriend got a 2003 white titanium 6 speed with about 50k miles

We were driving and she was in about 3rd gear, 3000rpms and suddenly the car just started jerking, she upshifted and all was fine.

A few moments later she was in 4th gear and the car starts jerking again.

1. No she was not in a very high gear going slow as her rpms were high both times.

2. No we didnt hit the side "wake up" zone but thats what it felt like, the road was smooth

3. someone said it was the cv boots but she was going straight.

It's odd because I had the same problem in my old 2000 5 speed but never figured out what was up and it happened so little i forgot and ended up selling it

Tried to repeat the problem myself with no luck...HELP PLEASE!

edit: car is 100% stock

Well, from what I have heard 3rd gear in the 6 speed Maximas is a travesty. From grinding to jerking. I would have it looked at.

from what i gather...and this is from years of seeing similiar threads and news articles...it seems that you could not replicate it, but she had no problem doing it.

the problem is she's a woman. $5 to my paypal account. COME BACK SOON!

heres what i found on google, could anyone give a yes or no to these:

1. oxygen sensor or MAF sensor
2. throttle position sensor.
3. spark plug wires/plugs
4. fuel filter
5. someone suggested mis-alignment(TWO PIPES WERE NOT CONNECTED) in exhaust pipes and the flow of exhaust was interrupted

yah i wish i could just blame it on her but i was there
