De-k Sos!
Ok i've searched and looked through the FAQ's about the vias problem, couple things. Other than the JB weld fix would I have to replace the entire unit that screws to the side of the intake or is there something else to look at first? what exactly does the JB weld do, I was a little unclear as I found no plastic cup just metal. also the runners look like they stick as they move back and forth but will turn freely. What else should I check? when at half throttle or a little more, just after 3k rpm's where the intake should open it bogs down hard and revs VERY slowly. I dont have a warranty and not a lot of money so any additional help would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks guys.

Pacific time FTL...
I agree with the poster about watching it to see what is going on when the problem occurs.

Good luck bro.
I hadnt looked yet (only one up at the time) but decided to do a thin layer of JB weld to head off future problems, tonight when I put it back on I will let it warm up and do the 5k test, if it doesnt move, then where do I go from there?
FIXED!!!! did the jb weld kwik and it looks like at some point....dunno when, that two vacuum lines on the vias had been switched? this is odd since the problem was ocurring before I even tore into it.....might have to track down an *** to kick. but anyways intake installed, tb cleaned and vias operational
NOW THAT B to da ITCH NEEDS AN EXHAUST!!!!!

it would seem that one of the lines toward the rear of the box that hook to the metal line that goes toward the pass side was left off or got switched at some point and the vacuum direction was off or something I dunno but as soon as the lines got put back and everything was hooked up right, it was like a lightswitch being turned on.
