Squeaky belt....tensioner or pulley?

I have a 2003 Maxima I replaced the alternator belt about 3 months ago and my squeaky belt issue went away. The belt had a lot of cracks and looked wore. Just recently theres a squeaky sound again, only when I give the car gas though.. At idle the car is fine, no squeaks. Any ideas on what this could be? I wanna get this done by the weekend, its a little annoying. haha

Thanks

I would retension the belts again. I think the rule is that you shouldnt have more than a 1/2" of play in the belt. But they are rubber so its possible that they have stretched a little and just need to be readjusted.

Odds are it wasn't tight enough. Once they start slipping they get glazed and need to be replaced.

spray belt dressing on the belts. it will take care of the glazing and condition the belts. that should stop the problem
