High Flow catalytic questions

I just picked up my 2000 Max, with 100,000 miles, and I was thinking about putting on a high flow cat.

How long do the stock ones last?
Does going with a high flow cat make the exhaust louder?
Is there any performance gain with a high flow cat?
What is the length of the stock cat?
When it gets plugged up, how would it affect performance?

Thanks for the help guys.

A highflow Cat will not add any performance and it will change the tone a little on a stock car.

I changed mine at about 75k miles because of it being rusted to hell and it had a problem sealing with the new headers.

The reason I ask how long they last is because my car has a hesitation in the midrange on acceleration around 3500 or 4000 rpm. It pulls good until there, but once it starts to rev higher, it gets flat, and hesitates a bit. I was thinking the cat might have something to do with it, if they tend to plug up around 100,000 miles.
I picked up some new plugs, and i'm going to clean out hte throttle body first. Then see if it's still doing it.

VIAS does not kick in till 5200rpms...

Sounds more coils on the way out.

Have you done a tune up yet? I would change the plugs first if you have not done that yet. I changed mine at 60k and they were shot...
