Since I know how mean people on this site can be especially to the most repeated and hated thread question of all that you just asked I will be nice and just say to look at the FAQ's sticky at the top of the 5th Gen page...there have been infinite threads on intakes.

ill answer ur question anyway, best way to go is the ghetto air box, or just get rid of the scoop and silencer. if u must have an intake berk is the one to go with.

i'd like to ask this question too but is this really the best answer? you get better performance and fuel economy if you remove the front part of the stock intake rather than changing to a complete new sytem like the injen one? how big is the intake 3"?
