Bose== 2002/2003

Twice now, I have gone over a rough patch of road only to have the driver side (front and rear) speakers turn off. If I turn off the radio, then back on...they're back to normal. Anyone else run into this?

If you're gonna be a smart@ss about it, at least provide a little more info. Does this happen while playing a cd or listening to the radio or both? From your initial post, it sounds like the classic CD cutout issue that I've experienced as well. Maybe it's not in your case.

Isn't that actually the Clarion? Not the BOSE?

Both I believe, but today it happened with the CD. CD kept playing but driver side speakers were out.

This is an OEM system, no additions have been made.

yes it sounds like the classsic cutout issue...mine only happens with cd's...they skip, the right side cuts out and it basicly sucks the big one...i hit bumps everything comes back to normal only to cut out again sometime in the near future.
sorry to sound like a "****" but go look in the audio forum, use the search (pay 20) or try the google way...another excuse to waste more money

The guy has an 02, he's well out of his 3/36. The best solution to your problem is to go aftermarket. That Clarion HU sucks and a moderately priced HU will sound drastically better with those stock BOSE speakers.

I'd like to keep mine stock. Is it possible to send the unit to Clarion/Bose to get it swapped out without involving Nissan?
