I have a 2k1 max. When you press the button to lock the car the car will honk once and lock the doors. All of a sudden my car doesn't honk any more. It just locks the doors. I pressed the panic button and that works fine. Did I somehow deactivate the honk from the keyless entry system?

 

If you look on the back of ur "remote" thingy it says .....Press Both Lock & Unlock 2 Sec"
Beep <----> Quiet
all u gotta do is hold both the unlock and lock buttons for a couple seconds and it'll either make the beep noise or do it quietly(what ur experiencing now)......that should work,if it doesn't,then theres a problem

 

well you are a savior. never thought to look at the back of the remote. i don't know how i must of held them down, but good to know. thanks.
