courtsey MAF replacement...

After hearing the symptoms of a bad MAF, I have decided to replace mine...will be a replacement for my 01-SE AE edition? Do i need anything else?
Anyone have a write up for it?

You won't find a write up because it is just too easy to change. I changed mine in 30 minutes. I had to find other things to do because I wanted to wait an hr w/ my neg battery cable disconnected to reset the ECU.

So is it a direct replacement then without requiring any extra things (such as the actual sensor or is that a part of it)?

the part itself is the sensor itself. Just unbolt the 4 bolts and the one coupler, put the new one in the same way u took the old one out (dont forget to unplug the harness ofcourse) and put the new one in, keep the battery disconnected for like 45 minutes, voila.

Explaining it actually makes it seem more difficult than it really is.

My local dealer in PA wanted $120. I walked out and ordered it from Courtesy for $90. I bought a Maxima license plate w/ the $30 I saved.
