drivers side rear window wont go down

Finally its not raining in new england and i go to roll all my windows down and my rear drivers side window wont go down, neither of the buttons work from the drivers side button or the button on the door itself. all other windows work fine and its not the window lock, or child safety lock either....it sounds like it wants to go down but it just doesnt move, any one had this problem before?? i searched but found nothing

its the regulator....if you here the motor turn when you press the button down then thats it...if you DONT hear anything then it is the motor....i ran into this problem two weeks ago....and had an open window stuck in the down position for two weeks. i changed the whole thing...60 bucks, saved myself 400 by not gonig to the dealer.

Max112,

I just picked up a 2k1 AE and the right drivers side window goes down slowly and is a little uneven at the bottom of the travel. Is this a symptom of the regulator? I think for now it is going to stay up until I can make sure it is in good working order.

Thanks so much,

ABC

not really, it is really easy.... you just have to take off the plastic cover that is under the door panel....cut under the plastic where the adhesive is with a sharp blade. UNDER do not cut the actual plastic...then you just have to work inside the door...it is like two bolts on for the window and 3 i think for the motor.

My front passenger window has been stuck down for two days. I took the SAT's this morning and it started pouring rain, I was so pissed, I definitely did awful this time on the test. Doesnt matter I did fine the first time.

*edit: I opted for the extended warranty from Nissan when buying this so im covered
