'02 SE 6MT - no sunroof, no navi, no BOSE, no HLSD, no leather, nada. I do have the power drivers seat and that's about it. Basically I have a GXE disguised as a SE.

 

03 SE 6-speed; all options including factory Nav. Not very many 2003's like that around (I've seen mine and another on the org).

No the auto wasn't more pricey. In the 5.5 gen the manual and auto were the same price........The 6 speed was standard on SE even though they are rare and the auto was a no charge option.......The auto was standard on GLE and GXE

 

My 03 SE is pretty bare bones, only got a sunroof.
My mom's 03 SE is nice! 6mt, auto climate, leather, bose, Titanium, I guess that's everything but Navi.

 

Co-Sign. I do miss not having a sunroof at times though.

 

+1.0 Here as well. Fully loaded minus the Navi. TE is a nice feature with the wheels and the stiching. HSLD comes in handy. I use my ME package all the time. Black on Black is my biatch.....

Mods - perhaps this could be added to a sticky or FAQ...

 

I need to add that GXE had to have AUTO tranny in order to get the convenience package. Also ALL Maximas should have variable intermitent wipers and washer fluid LOW light- I know my cheap azz GXE does.

BTW how much do your POWER leather/heated seats weight ? I was just pulling my non power cloth front seats out to install some amps under them, they are not any heavier than 20lbs. I am the only person who gets behind the wheel of my whip, I havent touched the controls on my seat- in ages.

 

my 02 is fully loaded every option available, tcs, leather, heated seats, steering wheel mirror, auto tranny, bose 6cd, in canada we never got navi so mines theoretically fully loaded up north

That's not true. I have 6 speed 03 with HLSD and I have that button. I know I don't have the option or turning the traction control on or off....

I have an 01 AE with everything but traction control...!

 

only 6pds have this option....to make sure u have it, check the transaxle code under the hood next to the brake booster. if there is an "H" at the end of the code, then you have HLSD, if not, then you do not have it as an option...IIRC there should be an "A" for maximas w/o HLSD....

Mine is a middle of the road 01 5 spd. After 6 months looking for a manual, I bought whatever I found without getting raped by the stealers (I bought it new). This meant comfort and convenience package and the Blose, but no leather. Nissan threw in the wheel gap, brake judder, notchy tranny and P0420 code options for free.

 

My previous max was fully loaded and my current 2k2 max has everything except for NAVI.
