Would anyone know if this could be made to bolt up to a 6th gen?

waht man just wondering wear did you get the front sway bar for your max, because i'm been looking and i can find it anywhere, please help and how much.

 

WTF who are you talking to? Who has a front sway bar?

 

6th gen suspension is totally different. I doubt you guys even need something like this.

Today I also noticed that the ride became slightly better, especially over speedbumps.

 

Well I just read someones cardomain and sort of came back here to say that I found out what it means. I guess what you suspention freaks want is to cause the uni-body frame to be so solid that when you take a turn the onl thing that rolls sideways is your tires after breaking loose...Well I exagurated alittle but I got the main point. Do people who don't Auto X do this to their street car? just curious.

Believe it or not, I think I learned what SFC stands for from your cardomain ;-)

 

Well that's slightly more complicated than that... but the chassis does have to be as stiff as possible.

Cars that are driven on the street will benefit from this as well because stiffer chassis results in a better ride.

 

I don't autocross or even drive that aggressively on the street, but a solid feeling car is something that is difficult to live without once you know what a car "can" feel like. The unibody Max has a somewhat flexible chassis, its like a warm tortilla when compared to a late model european brand. I read that Nissan has done quite a bit in the chassis stiffening dept. with the latest 07' Altima.

I can't afford an 330i or an S4 and their reliability isn't that great either. With the Maxima you get good power and reliability and with the right chassis, suspension, and hp mods its about the best you can do for <$20k. Just get some SFC's, Illuminas with some good springs, ~100lbs of dynamat, and headers to counteract that weight, 06' brakes and that is about as close as you can get to a front wheel drive near luxury sports sedan. I really like the way the car feels now, its much quieter with dramatically impoved ride quality and squeaks and rattles are almost nonexistent.
