Ok went up to chicago this weekend with four people in the car, two girls in the back and some luggage. I've always had this problem with my right rear strut since installing the illuminas(illuminas with less than 8k and progress springs)...it seems to buttom out or hit really hard when I go over any kind of bump with load(girls didn't like that too much, neither did I). It literally sounds like the car will break. Set to 2.

I've changed my stops and boots to KYG but the problem is still there. Is the strut blown? I hate having to take my suspension apart all the time and not resolving the problem that and I work on my car wwwwwwwaay too much.

its probibly just the bumpstop. i have pertty much the same thing over bad potholes. i didnt cut the bump stops and there is only like an inch of travel. u probibly have the same thing. dont think iots an issue just anoying. u can cut the bumpstops like 1/2 way, that should help, but im would think that way mu have more of a chance of actuallu bottoming out the shock itself and blowing it. just check it once a month for leaks, if it doesnt leak its good. also see if its too bouncy.

the car will feel bouncy with a blown strut - especially over speed bumps.
