Hid ?

I know this forum is flooded with HID questions but I was wondering if the HID's out of a 04 maxima will fit a 00 maxima. I know alot of people have the 02-03 HID's installed on 00-01 maxima's.

i bet they would. i dont see why not.

it's just a ballast, ignitor, and D2R.

A 04 is a completly different car (US production), go find yourself on 02-03. Make it simple.

um. not HID system bro.

i bet the only difference is that it comes with D2S instead of D2R.

he doesn't specify if he means the headlights or just the ballasts/bulbs.

Yeah sorry about that I know that the headlights are not the same I was just wondering if the bulbs and ballast would be like a plug and play kinda thing. The 02-03 you have to rewire right

You can't just insert a D2R or D2S bulb into an H4 housing. As for the ballast, you can prob use it if you had 02-03 headlights, then you can use any D2R bulb.
