What bulbs?

Wondering what size / part the bulbs are in the headlights of an 02 Maxima..

I'm looking for a whiter light for the high beams, and also the little top corner light.

I looked at the faq-u and parts list, couldnt find anything there.

Help is appreciated.

Thanks

I ususally go here to see what kind of bulbs are available on the market.

http://www.eautoworks.com/html/bulbS...SAN-Maxima.htm

It's a good reference page but I don't buy from them anymore cuz I know I can find somewhere cheaper.

For the high beams, the bulb# is HB3, and for the parking light 194 or 168. If your aiming for a "hyper-white" look, Polarg's are good. PIAA's are good, but they run too hot.

Nothing's going to match HID's except HID's. But, to get close, get some Polarg's for the sidemarkers (red in rear, amber or white in front);for fogs get HID's and for parking lights in headlight get Polarg's or LED's.

You may want to do some reading before you post. The stickies at the top are the best place to start. You don't want to get flamed.

Your 5.5 already have HIDs so you don't need to get need bulbs. Get your clears from autodynamic.com or check out ebay.

I meant for FOGlights and Hi beams not for the HID's that are in the car.

I'm not sure why people want to use their high beams to match HID's. How often do you use your high beams? Plus, they are regular filament bulbs. There's nothing that will match the factory HID's, unless it's HID. As far as the fogs, there is a HID fog kit out there, but it's quite pricey if you decide to go this route. If you want to go the least expensive route, go with a set of PIAA's. I have the PIAA's Extreme White which are a quite close match to the HID's. Other members have used other PIAA's as well.
