Ok some im driving at we are at a stop because of high traffic. Traffic starts to move and I press onthe gas and I dont move... Wtf am I in Neutral? Nope. Then my car Dies Wtf? lol I put it in park Try to restart it and its sputters thinking its on I put it in gear and it dies and not realizing I back up into a guy behind me. F*CK im screwed im thinking. The guy comes up to my window WTF YOU JUST HIT MY CAR!! Hes telling me how they are gonna tow my car. Im like oh crap... I didnt have my insurance on me at the time either. A little later the guy comes up to me again after he talks to the cop and says "Buy me a 6 pack of beer and we are kool," and im like YES! haha.

I got lucky... But wtf happend to my car? We tried to push start it down a hill no luck. Then it just magically started to work again.

 

I would check anything related to fuel and spark first, i.e. fuel pump (check fuses and relays), ignition coils (not really likely) more than likely it's the MAF (mass air flow sensor). You should be able to get a MAF for around $80. Try unplugging it trying to start your car.

 

I replaced my MAF not too long ago -.-;;

 

The car not starting is unlikely related to the MAF. If the MAF was blown it would probably just go into limp mode and/or throw a code. How is it driving now that it has started?
