Sounds like your future modding process is similar to mine. I felt the exact same way about the RSB. To me there is no reason it shouldent have been there from the factory, it deff made a large difference.

I can say that with the Eibachs/Illuminas, SFCs, RSB, and FSTB no one riding in the car has ever commented about the car riding hard. Most people dont even know how high the limits of the car are untill I push it fast into a corner at which point people get nervous but are soon surprised that the car just swallows the corner without a peep. I am pretty happy with its performance.

It is kinda a pain in the a$s, but I have 2 jacks and I use the rear jacking points in front of the rear wheels. Once the car is up in the air there is enough space on the rear beam between the inside of the wheels and either end of the RSB that you can fit a jackstand on either end.

How long does this take to put in? Ive been thinking about getting one, the responses from you guys are rediculous, now i really want one cause it seems like one of the best ways to improve handling short of lowering springs/struts

If only installing one, which of the two improves handling the most, FSTB or RSB?

I've been meaning to get a RSB since it gets good reviews. What is the best place to buy a RSB? Thanks.

Would I feel a huge difference if I already have Illuminas set on 5 with H-techs and FSTB?
I don't want to get it if its small of a difference

Well I have Eibachs, and illuminas set to 5 with a RSB and I still think my car rolls quite a bit compared to most every sports car I've been in. So for me its a must, regardless of suspension setup.

I recently installed a new Progress RSB on my otherwise stock 2K2 and was AMAZED at the difference. I have done a few other minor "performance" mods (K&N Filter, GAB intake, Timing advance, Redline MT-90) and noticed very little difference, so I was skeptical about how much I would notice with this one. However the difference the RSB made in reducing body roll and the feeling of understeer was truly phenomenal.

By the way, IMO, this mod isn't just for the performance-oriented driver. My wife, who drives very conservatively, immediately noticed the redued body roll rom the RSB when doing something as simple as exiting in a right-turn lane at normal speeds. Why Nissan wouldn't have done this from factory is a mystery to me.

$139+shipping @ cattman.

anywhere else?

At least an hour. When you get your RSB, check the hardware first and make sure you're not missing a nylock nut or a bolt. I found this out the hard way when I installed mine.

By the pictures alone, SFCs and LTBs are completely different units but work in the same principle (e.g. stiffen frame to prevent flex). Installation also is another major difference, BlehmCo's LTB connects with nuts & bolts and an SFC is welded on to the frame.

Check the group deal section, Brian had a special going. $120 Progress RSB shipped! I think normally it's anywhere from $150-180 shipped. Well worth the money.

Shouldn't take much more than an hour. I found this installation guide for the addco RSB on 5th gen Maximas: http://www.moodym.com/maxima/tech/addcorsb.html

yes, the RSB is great. and you dont need to jack up the car to install it, though it does make it easier

How did you guys tighten the trailing arm brackets without taking the wheels off?

I have done 99% of the job on the ramps, but I just couldn't reach some of the bolts with the socket wrench so I also had to jack up the car and take off both of my rear wheels.

Two people, one with a crescent wrench, one with a ratchet.

well i jacked it up from the back real high and then put 2 stands up on the sides, and fished aruond with the bolt till i got it to catch lol.. was kind of a PITA at times by myself but it worked out fine ,.. hardest part i think was messing with the brake lines...
