Passenger rear view mirror just broke off from the base
As the title says, Passenger rear view mirror just broke off from the base. How can I fix this. I know I can JBWeld the parts but will like to do a permanent fix. Should I use bigger washers under it? Help please.

I had the same problem with my drivers side. I put 3M tape all around the trim and used a larger washer on all three bolts to secure it back. If the washers slip through, the 3M would make sure it didn't go flying off and beat up the side of the car.

Na... I didn't have to but I'm not sure about yours. Are they free turning? If so then the only thing you'll be ablet to do is jb weld em in place. Then you can do the whole washer / 3m thing.
The only other fix is to get yourself a new mirror.

I lost mine too, here's how I replaced it
Is the painted housing that the mirror is in... Is it in good shape?
I lost my passenger rear view to a sign that was poking in the road. The painted housing was still good and no cracks, just a little scratched, but some rubbing compound fixed that. The mirror was toast.
Just order a new passenger side mirror ($70). And it will come to you all as a full piece (mirror and primed housing), take off the primed housing and replace w/ the painted one you still have.
Take off the inside of your passenger door (you'll need a 10mm socket wrench, some flat head screwdrivers) and then take off the old side mirror base (3 nuts and unplug the old mirror)
Then replace with new, replug and put the door parts back in... You're done.
Replaced the mirror in under 2 hours. (I'm not a mechanic, so this is an easy install, just need some patience and printouts from this website on the install)
Works fine now. (New mirror will run over $300 w/ paint matching, I got a new one and did the install myself... $80 ($70 for mirror, $2 for 10mm socket, $2 for super glue, $5 for rubbing compound)
