If you're careful and use the correct size screwdriver, you won't have any problems. I've removed and re-installed my VIAS screws 3x and they are not stripped at all. Just make sure to use a large philips head, not a standard.

I think we all hear you man. When I did mine I had a philips head and flathead that I thought fit perfectly and no matter how hard I pushed in and turned 2 of the screws I couldn't get them out. I ended up putting the flathead on the side of the screw a little off center and smacked it with a hammer to undo it. Once you manage to get them out just get new bolts that are the same thread, I think they're M6 X 1.0, but you should double check, I did this last week and can't really remember.
westler92: Nothing informs you of it going out, the cup of the VIAS will gradually loosen and not turn to switch to longer runners. The only indication is that at 5 grand you don't keep on pulling. Its kind of hard to recognize, but once you fix it you realize what you were missing out on.

I went to the hardware store with my stripped VIAS screws and found some hex head screws that are the same size. I can now use a ratchet to get those out with ease... not that i ever have to because i dont have a power valve.

We had to use a screw/bolt extractor on my friends 00. It was FCKING gay. I don't why but those cheap *** screws are also on the other side of the IM(rod removal)...
We got 3 screws out and then the bottom one stripped and it was a b1tch to make the drill fit in there.

My low end was improved by like 50% with my Consult2 timing advance.
So all in all my low end is a little less than a stock 5th gen. but high end i will blow a stock one out of the water.

we need to take out the power valve and shave it so it still seals (I wonder if it can be done or if there is enough there)...but then we will keep most of our low-end/mid-range if not all and gain some top end...kind of a between fix of having it in and working and having it out...
