Car seems slow.

My car seems slow while getting on the highway at 100% throttle. I think its becuase my tranny only went into 3rd instead of 2nd. Im having some trouble with the tranny. I mean the acceleration is comparable to that of my old 98 AUTO SE. I do have an auto now but, it seems sluggish while getting on the highway and in most other examples, except from a dead stop. MAF? o.0
EDIT: Car does have 93k on it, but it is all highway mileage and was very very well maintained. I have all records.

Does sound MAF related perhaps. Get some CRC MAF cleaner and see if that does the trick.

Yes sir I believe so I found mine at pep boys and sometimes there selection sticks so I imagine so. CRC is a fairly large company with a reputable name in cleaning products such as brake parts cleaner. You should be able to find it. Good luck.

I use it as part of my semi annual mantience. After discovering it and using my first time. I noticed a smoother power delivery as well as smoother shifting.

Have you changed out your fuel filter? I was having the same problem as far as sluggish starts and hesitation. I changed it at 90,000 miles, the car drives and idles smoother and the acceleration is insane.

do you have any hesitation because that would show a fuel problem. You could also check out your spark plugs and such, and when was the last time you did a tune up.
