Installed one wire out of the "Big 3" and wow....

You need one of these:
http://www.darvex.com/miva/merchant....roduct_Count=1 to clean that battery terminal up nice. I got one off ebay for $7 shipped.
Did you use all 3ft on the battery ground? Grounded mine with 18" of 0/1ga. wire. Shorter the better.

I haven't done any of the other grounding mods. Only this one. She fires up 1st turn every time.
Have 8 gauge and 0/1 on the negative terminal. The blue is 4 gauge on the positive.
Wonder what my neighbor thinks of me taking battery pics at midnight.

Can someone direct me to a DIY on how to install one of those terminals? Remove the ring on factory terminal, insert into new, clamp down wire, and tighten around post?
Anf STL I30, you didn't fuse your + to alternator wire (blue)? Isn't it recommended? <- Nevermind, see the fuse now with bigger pics.

I'll try, it's easy
1)Remove factory terminal from battery terminal
2) Cut negative battery terminal off as close to terminal as possible
3) Tighten new battery terminal on negative battery post
4) Insert wire and tighten the according hex screw for the appropriate hole
Tools needed:
Wrench
Hex wrenches
Wire cutters
yeah edited last post for bigger pics-blue wire is amp

Maybe something like this for $7.

I'd bet you can find a knock off on ebay for even cheaper. Autozone might have them.
But yeah you have to cut off the factory negative terminal.

If someone dosent mind giving a simple anwser rather than dead end directions, it would be most appreciated.
And the question is, what is the "Big 3" ?
EDIT, I just found a site that that explained it.
BIG 3 = upgrades to the battery ground cable, starter cable and Alternator cable.

So just to reiterate, a single 1/0 AWG wire from the - battery post to chassis, along with the other "Big 3", is more beneficial as a hyper ground solution than to have multiple 4 or 8 AWG wires at numerous points throughout the engine bay? Or is this to be used in conjunction with a hyper ground kit of some sort?

I want to run a new power wire 0 gauge and new ground wire 0 gauge, its a part of the big three.

doesnt the stock negative terminal already go from the battery post tp chassis?

As stated, dont replace it just add on. Removing the stock wire will just be a PITA since its goes all over the place and in my case is wrapped up with several other wires. Remember once you have installed the bigger wires, the power takes the path of less resistance. The only wire that is easy (to me) to remove is the stock negative wire from the chasis to the battery.
