Any good repair manuals for the 3.5L? Other questions as well..
Our 03 Max SE is creeping up on 60k, at the last oil change, dealership claims the drive belts (2) have cracks and that the belts should be changed every 45-50k miles, and the power steering fluid needs to be flushed.
My questions is, do the companys like haynes, chiltons, etc make a repair manual that covers the 3.5L engine in the 02-03 maximas?
Anyone have any alignment issues with their stock non modified car? Local alignment guy claims such n such adjusmtents are worn to their limit, and a $75 alignment kit is needed.
Lastly... is the dealership "induction service", the only way to get the injectors serviced? I heard the injectors dont like the pour-in cleaner stuff.
Thanks for your help.

Yes actually the older haynes manuals were 93-01 maximas but they just released the new version covers 93-04 at autozone. looks exactly the same so go check it out and make sure u get the right one, as far as suspension goes i'm not sure someone else who knows that stuff can tell you. i've worked in parts for over a year though and never heard of an alignment kit, however that can be the shops name for buying 10 dollar sway bar links and bushings and charging you more than double plus labor, THAT i have heard of

1. you can look at your belts and see if there's any cracking yourself. I just changed all my belts at 100K miles and the original belts looked just fine, no cracking at all, and mine have seen alot of road salt, winter driving, etc. You live in TX, so you don't have the low temperatures that cause belts to crack. Probably not a 'bad' idea to change the belts, but I seriously doubt if it's needed at that mileage.
2. PS flush: bullsh*t. Look in the fluids section here, there's a how-to on how to do a "ghetto" PS fluid change yourself.
3. local alignment guy is full of it. At your mileage, none of the suspension components should be considerably worn. Again, I have 100k miles, drive on crappy roads, and autocross and just replaced all the original suspension pieces...and most of the old ones were just fine and car was in alignment. Besides, there is no reason he can't align the car to spec, no matter what mods you have done, as long as he can get it onto the alignment rack.
4. Induction service is B.S.......Seafoam, FTW!

Seafoam is a go??
I forgot to mention, around 17k miles, i hit a damn racoon and it tore up the front bumper cover, splashguards, etc
it hought maybe that would ahve somethign to dow tih the alignment being wacked.
as for mods, the car is bonestock minus some yokohamas and window tint
