got the car tuned yesterday

well after my buddy took his sr 240 to the dyno we took mine to finally get it tuned. the first run it made 181hp and 180 ftlbs then it was tuned and the final numbers were 195hp and 193 ftlbs. the best thing is that these gains were all the way through the powerband. it's very nice to drive now. here's a list of mods

GAB intake, wsp ypipe, 2.5" bpipe, hks muffler, rvm udp, rebuilt injectors by deatchweks, paxton fpr, walbro 255 fuel pimp. it was tuned with my old school VAFC. i'll copy the graph and get it up on here in a day or two. and the temp was 90* and it was on a dyno jet.

my car is a 5 speed. and the a/f was in the mid 13's after the tune, it was in the low 11's before

here's the vid

Indeed nice numbers, I noticed you have the GAB... do you think peak numbers will increase if,.. say you were to go with a cone filter (apexi, K&N, etc,...)?

Where did you dyno it, in OK city? Here in Tulsa we use Dyno Jet all the time, pretty popular here. You got any vids of your car?

the injectors were just rebuilt by deatshwerks to flow just a little bit more than stock. i will have to find the reciept from it and see what they flow. fp was set at 45psi.i have it up a little so that i run a little rich on nitrous.

might of gotten a little more peak with the cone, but i like the GAB the best so far.

abel motors is who dynoed the car. they have tuned the two fastest 240's here in okc, and have a great reputation.

i have some vids i just need to get them uploaded on to the net.

So, what do they flow @ stock FP? 45 psi is ~ 3.1 bar = ~ stock (3.0 bar).. so what's this 'little rich'.. ( the 0.9 psi? )??

Considering they're(injectors) a little rich and you were in the 11's, I'm guessing this could have constituted the gain in tq/hp....( a la MAF conditioning )

i thought that stock fp was 42 psi. so i bumped it up so that i would be sprayin in a little bit more fuel when i was using my nitrous. i like to keep things on the safe side when it comes to spray. and yes it was tuned by a VAFC to ge the gains.

Get headers and you'll push past the 200 whp mark no problems

Is that the Abel on Douglas and 29th in Midwest City? I work right down the road at Tinker. A guy I work with is ALWAYS at Abels getting his p.o.s. worked on, you've probably seen it, an older red eclipse with a loud *** slow turbo?
