Intercooler to a 5th gen Maxima

Could a intercooler on a 5th gen Max ever be accomplished?
If so, what would have to be done?
Do think it could replace the long standing problem of finding a true CAI, since the only CAI that was ever true was put out of commission?
Or am I dreamin a bit too much?

I'm not giving him the chance.

Are you f'ucking kidding? That has got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. If you want to do something that stupid, sell the max and go buy a civic.

Yes there is a way to mount an intercooler in a max. First, like everyone here without FI you wouldnt need it. Secondly, you need to specify what type of intercooler. A front mount might be tricky (definately would have to go with one of the newer slim design ones), but that is only one intercooler mount spots.

The time to figure out what components are to go with the intercooler has not been researched on my part. I do know that most police cruisers have an intercooler with no turbo. Not a Max, but same difference. I figured an intercooler sucks in air, converts it to chilled air and so one. And if that can be done to a max that would rather conveinent.

I didn't know different types existed but thanx for the info. I'll try to do a little more info search, but thanx.

Yes and no.
Yes because I thought an intercooler was a better way of bringing in cold air.
No, because i'm not riding around in a f^^kn' rice machined bumper car or Honda to be exact. For which I hate very much. Nissan rules, as do I.

this has got to be one of the stupidest threads ever. do you have a blower or turbo? NO! you do not need an intercooler. out intake works well, why change. it. i just did the GAB intake and it's the best compared to the others. i've tried every one, trust me. don't do the gay f*cking interfooler intake, save that for the ricers and if you like those things, sell your max because you are not worthy of such a car.

Maybe the question you should've asked, "is there a way to bring colder air into the intake since there is no true CAI. You probably would've avoided the bs blasts that people just can't seem to avoid.

This thing was "engineered" by someone who couldn't engineer his way out of a wet towel!! Don't even think about it. I love the plexiglass "restrictor plate" in front of the filter. It won't even work as a rain shield. Ever try to flow air through a water dampened air filter?

That is truely ridiculous. It's about time for ebay to start having a grammer checker. I'm not even going to say anything about the "engineered product". What was really funny was this:

"(Sorry we dont have any instruction. We recommend professional installation or DIY)"
