Just to follow up on this since it'll come up in a search.

The rear seat bottom cushion should be replaced along with the lower anchors if they're retrofitted into a MY2000 Max. The bottom seat has a recessed metal rod (frame) inside the cushion that gives it space to fit over the anchor bracket AND it also has the gina slot in the cushion itself to make accessing the anchor much easier than using the 00' seat bottom.

I know all of this as I just installed both in my 00' yesterday.
