Exhaust Question

Nothing special, but just asking if anyone has this set up and how it sounds.

I currently have a WS Y-pipe and will be adding on a straight pipe and cattman B-pipe. I'm Keeping the OEM muffler on there cuz of an article I read on how much they put into the stock muffler.

Is this setup going to be crazy loud? Anyone have this setup?

btw.. here one of the many articles i've read about the exhaust

look through the exhaust sticky...

I have headers, CM Highflow main cat, and a Cattman B-Pipe with a stock muffler and it is not that loud at all.

Through my personal experience of owning and modding several different cars, the muffler is one of the main components of sound level. The cat also helps a lot with sound, so if you don't want it too loud you may have to put the stock cat back on. My plans for the 03 SE/TE is headers b-pipe and stock muffler. And just for the purpose of sound.

i have warpspeed y, stock cat, budget b w/ magnaflow resonator, and a stock muffler and i like the sound cuz its not that loud. I like the quiet sound to and this is the way to go.

The only thing I don't like, is that it's not as aggressive as a full catback w/ the mentioned mods. but, you have to go one way or the other, so i choose this route. btw, if you have a cold air intake + y and b pipe, it sounds REAL good IMO. its the loudest it'll get with the stock muffler, which isn't loud at all compared to catbacks.
