TB and Intake manifold
I cleaned my TB last week which eneded in a high idle I can't seem to get rid of. Tried basically everythign except replacing it. I did ECU reset with 44+ hours of battery disconnect, Idle air vol. learn, etc. Nothing works. I guess I'll just replace it. Found a orger on here who has one for sale. It is the TB, IACV, Intake Manifold...basically everything from TB to Upper intake manifold. But it came off from a 02 6SPD while mine is a 02 AUTO. Is that entire piece same for both cars? Will it match up correctly? Nay help is appreciated and thank you in advance.

i knew one guy that had this problem, but friend at dealership reprogrammed the ecu and all was good. but the problem arouse after a force induction cleaning? or something like that, and the reprogrammed solved it i guess. If you got the hook up, you should try getting it reprogrammed if no one provides any useful info.

There seems to be a common problem with these cars - after cleaning TB the ECU throws High Ile RPM code as well.
The answer to this problem is
(1) reflash the ECU - dealer should max charge an hour of labor , no parts - this is to reflash the ECU to virigin state. Do not ask for resetting the code, this will not work for long. The code [and high idle RPM] will come back again fast. You need to ask to reburn/reflash the ECU to virgin state. If you have not upgraded you firmware to the new revision; may be do it anyways.
(2) Dealer can use the relearn function no their Consult II and reset the ECU memory for A/F mixture settings - basically this tells the ECU to forget all what it knows about the hostorical data and re-establish the baseline for TB/IACV settings
Your TB is fine
