Aftermarket Horns.......
#1
Okay, I know most of you are tired of hearing about this topic, just as with the lights. I have looked thru the old posts and found a lot of mixed info. What im looking for is a couple of specifics. Im not sure if i want to go Fiaam or Hella, or if I should get an air horn or an electric one. any comments or suggestions i should take into consideration first? and, where is the best place to get them?

you can find them at pep boys
i've got another question to add onto this thread about horns...i was at pepboys today and i noticed they have a lot of different notes of horns...all they had were the fiamm freeway blaster horns and they were about $16 each...now, i was wondering if anyone has used any of the other notes...it seems like everyone uses E and F (which goes up front btw, e, or f?) so has anyone tried any other combos?

HELLA HORNS
I put hella horns in my 2000 max a few weeks ago and love em!!! A few tips though. You can wire the compresser pump to the factory horn power lead but you must up the alarm fuse to 20 amp. Use the horn mount to mount the compressor and face the trumpets down next to the rad! Any questions or for a step by step e-mail me.
