translucent led red lights for the clear/chrome tails

Can someone tell me where to get the translucent led red lights for the clear/chrome tails? They are really bright and they don't show any color unless they are on.

A website, bulb number would be helpful

Thanks all.

That guide is excellent. Now I know all the sizes.

That website you gave me has alot of led lights too but they don't have any of the lights that I am looking for.

I am not sure if I am describing them correctly. They are bulbs that people use to take away the "yolk" look in headlights. They look like they have a coating on them which allows them to look clear when the lights are off but are super bright when the lights are on.

Does anyone know what I am talking about?

you can make your own bulbs like that...silver paint over the bulb.
i have that for the turn signal on my tails and the blinker on my headlights.

fyi, you are just going to bring more attention to your very illegal tails

So you are looking for incandesent lights that will appear clear in the housing? If you check the 7440, 7443 section of the autolumination website look at the fourth item from the bottom and that is what you are probably looking for. However, just my .02 cents I think the LED will produce a much more natural color.

Actually it is ill advised to put LED's on a cars turn signal unless is comes that way stock. Without a load Equilizer or a LED blinker the LED may not respond at all or burn out extremely quickly. Bottom line you are better off getting a faster blink timer than taking advantage of a LED on/off response. After saying all of that if the lights do work they will blink faster than stock.
